What dice do I need to play?
The Time Tails RPG system utilizes all of the dice from a traditional RPG dice set. You’ll find yourself rolling D20s but also D12s, D8s, D6s, and D4s too. The heart of the Paradox system relies on D4s which are interwoven with the circular attribute system in the game. We wanted to give those little pokey dice a chance to shine!
Have more questions about the system? Check out the Sneak Peek section on the Campaign Page where you’ll be able to read through a “shrinkified” quickstart version of the rules!

Is the Oracle Deck a Tarot Deck? What can I use it for?
The primary function of the Oracle Deck is to randomize Paradoxes and add excitement at the table. When a change to history causes a paradox… look out! GMs will have players pull a card from the deck and reap the consequences… for better or worse!
Outside of the game, the Oracle Deck can also be used for your own meditative and spiritual purposes as well. Some people use Oracle Decks for self-reflection and insight. Others use them for prognosticating in the same way that Tarot Decks have traditionally been used.
Cards in the Oracle Deck are the same size as traditional Tarot cards. However, the Oracle Deck is not a traditional Tarot deck, so you will not find the Rider-Waite iconography of the Major Arcana (The Fool, The Tower, etc.) and Minor Arcana (Ace of Cups, Two of Cups, etc.). Instead you will find unique, custom artwork created by Snowbright that reflects the time-traveling cat multiverse.

Who made this system/game/etc?
We did! Like Snowbright Studio’s other RPGs, almost everything that we create is in-house. We’re a team of artists, developers, designers, writers, and dreamers that build new worlds (multiverses?) and push beyond what you might normally see in a hobby that’s typically dominated by swords and dragons.
If you’d like to know more about the people who worked on this game, check out the team video on the Campaign page!

Was any generative AI used in the creation of this game?
Absolutely not. Everything you see here was made by a human (or… cat??). All of Snowbright’s games are written, illustrated, and thought up by real people on our team, and Time Tails is no different.

Where can I find more Time Tails adventures?
We’ve already published two preview mini-adventures in our cozy games and fiction magazine, Cozy Companion. (1) The Mystery of Mothcat which follows Ari & Zoe to the 1960s where they try to find the cryptid known as Mothcat! and (2) The Buckingham Paradox where Ari & Zoe send you back to pre-Victorian England to track down a missing teenage Ada Lovelace who happens to have ended up in the Cretaceous Period! Both adventures are available for purchase right now on our website.
We will be continuing to publish new adventures for Time Tails and our other RPGs (Teatime Adventures and ink) in Cozy Companion and digitally through Cozy Library.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
